Grey headed lovebirds caught from the wild for sale in the local market. The birds have been heavily traded as pets for a number of years, making this a fairly common sight with sellers often walking around with small cages, peddling their wares.
Upon making a sale the birds flight feathers are pulled out and string is attached to its leg before being handed over to its new owner.
